Double Pallu Paithani saree woven with zari star butti, a chatai zari border and a peacock and muniya pallu. Made in the traditional Maharashtrian style on a powerloom jacquard.

What "Double Pallu" means: it is the name of a pallu design, not two pallus. The woven pallu is noticeably longer than a regular Paithani pallu — which is where the name comes from — so more of the zari work stays visible when it falls over the shoulder.

Wash & Care

Dry clean is recommended for the first wash.
For later washes, gently hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent.
Do not soak for long, scrub, bleach, or machine wash.
Do not twist or wring; gently squeeze out excess water.
Dry naturally in the shade and avoid direct sunlight.
Iron on low heat from the reverse side and store folded in a clean, dry cotton or muslin bag.
