Double Pallu Paithani saree woven with chakra phool meena butti, a chatai zari border and a peacock and muniya pallu. Made in the traditional Maharashtrian style on a powerloom jacquard.
What "Double Pallu" means: it is the name of a pallu design, not two pallus. The woven pallu is noticeably longer than a regular Paithani pallu — which is where the name comes from — so more of the zari work stays visible when it falls over the shoulder.
